I felt the same way … I felt the same way with Crass, that they were self righteous left wing s preaching to everybody, even though their music is great and their message is right on the money. Sometimes people like libertine need to pull their tits out and smoke a ing joint.
yet they had more … yet they had more to say in any one song, than the pistols or the clash did throughout their entire career. Comparing the two is apples and oranges. I can think of 10 songs off the top of my head I liked better than those two top 40 jingles though. So at the end of the day you must be speaking for yourself and not in general terms.
I realise that … I realise that Crass have more integrity than Pistols or Clash and I admire their passionate beliefs but at the end of the day they are a rock band and if we’re all really honest we’ll accept they never wrote a tune as good as either God save the Queen or London Calling.
