Just one more thing …
Just one more thing but believe me, I know enough Nancy Spungeons and they are the most horrible people you could meet. It’s easy to hold some romantic image of Sid and Nancy but if you know those circles well enough, you see them in total clarity and reality. If you haven’t spent time with groups of desperate heroin addicts, you can’t understand her.
That is a good thing for you though, it is the most ugly, dark and disgusting lifestyle a person can live, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Just to clarify. Regarding my own addiction, I am currently prescribed Subutex (Buprenorphine), which is an opiate substitute and blocker, so I am not scoring every day (I don’t need to anymore).
I have no idea why I would share that information:-/

It has nothing to do with Nancy’s addiction. I would be quite a hypocrite if I disliked her for being a heroin addict, as I have had a heroin addiction for almost ten years myself, as have almost half my close friends.
No, She is just a horrible, nasty individual, with no redeeming features. She was the death of Sid! Not that Sid needed much help, mind.

How can you say Nacy was disgusting? What made you say that cause she took heroin? So did Janis Joplin and she wasn’t disgusting! Nancy was a baby she died at 20 that is extremely young and not an age where you can be classed as being disgusting. A bit wild yes!

It is very, very unlikely that Sid had any kind of political manifesto or philosophy. He certainly wasn’t a Nazi.
Sid could probably not spell the word Nazi and probably didn’t even know which political party was governing Britain at that time.
Political he aint!
The Pistols weren’t even political, no matter what Malc wanted people to think. Punks generally weren’t political people. It was all image.

Why should you respect someone who is dead if you didn’t respect them when they were alive? That makes absolutely no sense at all!
Nancy was an absolutely horrible, disgusting thing and she was so all the way through her adult life.
I’m pretty sure it was Johnny Thunders who introduced Sid to smack though.

Johnny introduced Sid to Nancy I dont know why.. and if you’re gonna be mad at Nancy fine because she had a really messed up life. It was Sid’s choice to do heroin. Also, the heroin Sid overdosed on was bought and given to him by his mother who was also a heroin addict.
