punk to me was simply a manifestation of all being within and introverted turned on its head; a simple relative aberration. in contrast to the meek, sober perception of order that had become of society. With no release they took it out on themselves in a cypher of self destruction. Punk is not dead; as you can’t kill a concept. However the consequences of it were minimal upon the very thing it impacted, we have been blessed with some of the most passionate music & poetry in the last century.

i can agree with …
i can agree with most of the Modern punk scene as being lame but the older stuff like The Clash, The Vandels, Dead Kennedys, The Sex Pistols, and The Germs are all great bands who were realy anti authority and were realy against the norms. I mean come on dude treating your body the way Darby crash did is pretty ing against the norms. I also really dont know how you can say Black Flag was the only real punk band. Good band but definitly not the only real punk band.
