I understand that … I understand that any era becomes romaticized in retrospect, Wolf, but I wouldn’t go back to those days for any amount of love or money. Punk was NOT a lifestyle choice, it was merely an option in a recession. Responsible, civil address to the fact that there were no jobs, no petrol and no housing got nowhere, by being punk at least we were making a statement..and we were being heard. Still, I prefer the stability that I have now, as opposed to wondering where my next meal would come from then.

Think about it, if Sid was is prison for 20+ years he would’ve been TORMENTED. I don’t just mean by the fellow in mates but also by the police and everyone else. Being a punk back then was way different than being a punk today, it was truly rebellious and unacceptable so people would get tormented for it.

on the 1st of feb … on the 1st of feb this year (2009) it would be 30 years since sid died. i respect sid, hes pretty much my hero. tbh i wanted to live in them times so i was alive in the punk era, but its just something ill never get to do, and ill have to live with that for the rest of my life.
