HOGAN’S HEROES-PRONG-LUDICHRIST
.CBGB, which opened on 315 Bowery in the Village in 1973, was instrumental in establishing New York’s punk scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s, as well as the American hardcore scene of the mid- and late ’80s.
Though CBGB was utilized as a hot spot for touring bands to hit when they came through New York, the scene that kept the bar alive during the 1980s was the underground hardcore scene. Sunday at CBGB was matinee day and “thrash day”. Every Sunday a handful of hardcore bands took the stage in the afternoon to dinnertime hours, usually for cheap. The CBGB’s matinee became an institution. This went on until early 1990s.

Formed between the swamps and the beach of New Jersey in late 1984, Hogan’s Heroes have recorded Three full-lengths (Built To Last-1988, Hogans Heroes-1990, Three Fists & a Mouthful- 1992) and have had their material released for Twenty Three(1985-2008) years in the United States, Canada,Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, Australia, Middle East, Africa, Japan. On Straight-On (U.S.A), PHD (England), Flavour(Japan), J!mco(Japan), Cleopatra (U.S.A.), and New Red (U.S.A.)Archives Record Labels.
Hogan’s Heroes has not pursued any releasing or the recording of tracks since the early 1990’s. Music has continued to come out, mostly tracks from 1992s’ “Three Fists…” line up and Session, up until to the mid 2000s. Released worldwide by 6 labels not in cooperation with the band.
