i’m not a guitar …
i’m not a guitar critic.
but i still think it’s true.
sterling morrison’s guitar work with the velvets was amazing, but lou’s is just good.
he played basic rhythm guitar, usually open/barre major chords. he’s solid and has good tone, but that’s about it. he was always more about lyrics, and that’s where he shines.
