Do you see this …
Do you see this video? Do you see The filth and the fury? I don’t think so. How a band who WRITE their songs, who PLAY their instruments, who MADE his concerts could be just a lie? They have great songs (and that’s the point), and make a legacy who no one could deny: from Bowie, Bolan from Cobain or R.E.M. are fanatics of The Pistols. Mc Laren was just a manager with a very petentious attitude who told a tale who a bunch of rock lovers believe that’s true.

the sex pistols …
the sex pistols were one of the best done image, publicity, mind controlling, fashion experiment, selled out band that ever existed. They were the frankenstein monster of McLaren and westwood, created just to get some money using the already punk rock sounds and attitude. The sex pistols are like cartoons.

john lydon was …
john lydon was slagging off the New York scene because of the heroin New York culture back in the day, and rightly so, he lost his friend due to that…..even if it was Sid’s own doing

Pistols, Pistols, …
Pistols, Pistols, Pistols. Whatever. I like how they omitted the fact that McClaren stole the ty, torn fashion sense from Richard on a previous trip to NYC.
For as much as Lydon likes to bash the early NYC scene, he owes every penny in his bank account to it.
Even more ironic is how they use a Joey Ramone song to open & close the credits to this documentary.
The Pistols did a great LP, but get over yourself, Lydon.
